You are doing one of two things as your Sunday winds down.
- You are pumped on all the things that you get to experience and enjoy.
- Or you you are bummed to know the work week is right around the corner.
There a few options in this scenario.
- You are thinking about how much you dread the sound of your alarm clock in the morning. Going to a job that you don’t really enjoy. Living a life that has fallen into a routine. Routines are good – yet deep inside you, you have the will, ideas and heart to do change things. You wake up and do the same thing you have always done. Nothing changes and you find yourself living for the weekend.
- Step outside your routine and find something that you enjoy, engage and look forward to it this week. Make it small. Is there a restaurant you have been wanting to try? Have you wanted to volunteer at your child’s school? Is there a movie you have been dying to see? A song or album you wanted to buy? Do something for you and set up a habit of building happiness.
